He is survived by his daughters, Jenna Balluch of Glen Elder, Chloe and Chrissy Balluch of Sylvan Grove; mother Ila Balluch of Beloit; grandma Jolene Brockway of Barnard; grandma Dorothy Balluch of Ellsworth; sister Amber (Matt) Brawner of Haven; brother Michael (Brooke) Balluch of Dickinson, Texas; sister Jenica (Brett) Behymer of Glen Elder; and many nieces and nephews. Our hearts are broken at the sudden loss of our son, Jacob Robbins, who died suddenly on Monday, January 16th 2023 at the tender age of 24. Jacob looked up to his stepfather Cory, and they shared a close and trusting 19 years together, full of much laughter and love. His genuine, kind-hearted nature always shone through, and his beautiful loving smile would light up the darkest of rooms.

Born on the exact day and month of his mother, Jacob shared a special and unbreakable bond with her which she will now carry forever.  As well as his father and their shared love for 90s alternative music, Star Wars and scenic road trips.  Jacob always spoke so highly of Helen, whom he would tell everyone what an incredible stepmother she was.  Jacob looked up to his stepfather Cory, and they shared a close and trusting 19 years together, full of much laughter and love.  He loved his baby brother Teo dearly and would take every opportunity to spend quality time with him. Special thanks to Dr. Harman and Dr. Meyer and the trauma team at North Bay Regional Health Centre who attended to Jacob in his last moments and extra special thanks to Nurse Shelly who cared for us upon our arrival.
