State vs phishers

Last week I participate to the Second Conference related to IT Criminality organized by IGP Anti-criminality Office.The presentation and discussions were oriented to the support elements required by private companies to state authorities in the fight with IT criminality phenomena. CIO COUNCIL congratulated Romanian Anti-Criminality Office in the success to identify a phisher in Romania , that attacked in last month BRD Bank. It is yet a gap between the necessities of the banks of fast reaction to IT criminal strike, and the state actions that are very regulated and bureaucratically. In fact state alone, it is very alone. Without good connexion at international level, FBI as example, it is quite difficult to catch someone that keep the clones of bank’s site in Brazil. The informal communication like this conference is very important, also.
