The time for a new challenge
With eight years ago I started a project, to be part of a team that to transform a bankrupt bank, with less then 400.000 clients to one of the most dynamic bank of Romania, having now close to 2.5 millions client. The IT team have been found by me then is was extraordinary, and I had the chance to be director for them in a lot of successes, starting with the merger of the two banks and the implementation of the new IT system in the resulting bank.
For many years a clear competitive advantage it was assure inclusive by the IT system, the first one centralized and on-line in a big scale bank. We added, after that, the first multi-channels platform, integrating the businesses of classical branches with mobile& internet-banking, call-center etc. We created a three-tier architectural structure, having a clear blueprint and strategy.
We organized a process oriented IT&C organization, assuring full transparency, based on international standards (ITIL, COBIT etc), managing efficiently important budgets. The IT organization has became an area with over 200 people in two directorates and more departments. We had one of the best KPIs of IT costs/customer and IT staff/total staff in all the RI group. We were pioneers in large scale outsourcing.
We have obtained the trust of the business lines, being a partner, not only a supplier, trying to be a business enabler, supporting directly business development. Yearly the business volumes had grow close to 100%.
We assure a solid and secure infrastructure that help the RI group decision to move the international payments operations in Romania, to be manage by our IT staff.
We centralized all subsidiaries IT infrastructures in one unique unit. We assure the operational factory to open last year over 150 branches, to install thousands of EPOSes and hundreds of ATMs.
We managed important changes in over 130 projects per year, each year.
Today is a moment of a change for me.
